The CCE 4522 Retiree Chapter is dedicated to supporting our retired members and maintaining strong connections with our active community. As a retiree member, you can continue to stay informed, engaged, and active within the CCE/AFT community!

Benefits of Joining the Retiree Chapter

Retired members who have been active in CCE/AFT for at least one year prior to retirement are eligible to join the Retiree Chapter.

• Advocacy and Representation: Have your voice represented in the CCE/AFT, the broader labor movement, and the community.

Membership and Organization

The Retiree Chapter has its own structure, with bylaws that outline membership guidelines, officers, and committee responsibilities. As a retiree member, you’ll also hold simultaneous membership in both the state and national AFT affiliates, ensuring you stay connected with the larger union network.

Your Voice in CCE Leadership

The Retiree Chapter President (or a designated representative) serves as a member of the CCE/AFT Executive Council. This role allows retirees to contribute to union decision-making on all matters except those related to contractual considerations and working conditions, ensuring that retirees have a respected voice within the organization.
